Balancing

  • Armor and Resistance efficiency changed

This is a huge change for both PvE and PvP - and is far from finished. The efficiency of armor compared to resists has been reduced alot. Please test extensively and report any weapons/classes/setups/damagetypes that fall out of line. 

  • Slight damage reduction for Psi Attack Modules and Baseball Bats, performance of pure force weaponry was too good on certain targets
  • Damage of all vehicles reduced
  • Anti-Air and Anti-Vehicle Launchers damage against vehicles has been increased significantly, lowered against players
  • STR based AoE weaponry and mini Rocket Launcher have recieved a major increase in accuracy, their damage has been lowered a bit to compensate.
  • Projectile speeds of rockets, fusion and ray projectiles have been increased (Malediction, Doom Beamer, Moon Striker, Mini Rocket Launcher, etc...)
  • AoE drones damage reduced a bit
  • Vehicle gunner seat weapons STR and Subskill requirements reduced:
  1. Laser Cannon is now STR 78 (was 90)
  2. 30mm Cannon is now STR 67 (was 75)
  3. Adv. 30mm Cannon is now STR 71 (was 85)
  4. 20mm Cannon is now STR 39 (was 61)
  5. Adv. 20mm Cannon is now STR 76 (was 79)
  6. Rocket Launcher is now STR 49 (was 68)
  • DoY Rocket Launcher is now STR 73 (was 92)
  • DoY Gatling Cannon is now STR 71 (was 82)
  • Double Rocket Launcher is now STR 20 (was 24)
  • Raygun Cannon is now STR 88 (was 96)
  • DoY Improved Gatling Cannon is now 78 (was 84)
  • NPC Damage has been reduced across the board
  • NPC Health has seen an overall reduction, especially for BR < 40 *[SUP]1[/SUP]

Known Issues

  • 1) This step has not worked like intended, fix is on the way!

Please note: All weapons (and vehicles) damage output is subject to change once resists/armor have been adjusted to reasonable levels - aiming for a roughly identical time to kill (in pvp) as Titan currently. NPC health and damage output will be looked at after doing that.

  • Enemy Provoke & Distract Mind are working as intented now
  • fixed a item info typo (Ancient PSI Glove)
  • a script error was fixed (Ancient PSI Glove)

Bugfixes

  • The "stealth bug" is more problematic than expected - it seems an old bug got triggered accidentally that needs to get sorted asap - In the meanwhile there is an 'workaround' active to avoid to getting uncloaked to fast

  • a new Power Armor for Droner (PE) was added to the Game, called "Rigger's Suit"*

  • a flying tree in I03 was removed

  • a new Power Armor for Droner (Spy only atm!) ("Evasionsuit") was added to the Game*

  • Further amendments to the effects of stuns;
  • Shield system has been re-implemented;
  • Beam weapons should now display their hits correctly;
  • Gatling Cannon sounds have been normalised within the Weapon Family;
  • Drugs have been reverted to their current Titan state;
  • Item names for existing items have been reset to their current Titan state;
  • Balance tooling has received several updates;
  • SECOND LOVE damage has been increased;
  • Bugs were fixed in the length of STUN, DAMAGEBOOST and CONTAMINATION effects;
  • First Person effects for being on fire were adjusted.
  • Further bugs in sniper rifle zoom were fixed;
  • A server crash was fixed;
  • A client crash was fixed;
  • Decorative Rat, Seagull and Crow animations have been restored;
  • Improvements to NPC script handling;
  • Plasma Cannons have been adjusted;
  • APU damage has been adjusted;
  • Juggernaut Crossbow Rifle has been assigned a new Weapon Family;
  • SUPER HARD MISSION GUY now has a new mission for players. It's now easier to cap new characters in the Ceres Temple;
  • Absorber, Deflector and Protector PSI Modules have been adjusted;
  • New line of sight heal spell renamed to HOLY RESTORATION;
  • HOLY RESTORATION has been adjusted;
  • New rare Junk Knife BLAKKMIST'S REMORSE has been implemented;

  • Drones are currently not enabled.
  • New characters may not start with compatible ammo for their weapons.

With a previous Vedeena patch we decided to postpone all changes on armor and implants, so you can simply copy setups from Titan for testing.
