The fact that Pepper Park offers all sorts of things isn't new, but according to disturbing rumours, in addition to the usual drugs, dirty secrets and questionable services of all kinds, valuable goods from faction stocks could also become available in Pepper Park in the future.
Initial research suggests that goods from all factions, even the CityAdmin itself, may be available on the black market if you have the necessary negotiating skills.
Queries from Neocronicle in the faction HQs make it clear: the faction supply managers are shaken and cannot explain this circumstance.
The information, however, was quite sparse and it was repeatedly said that "investigations" had been initiated.
So far it is completely unclear who is behind it, how they managed to get their hands on these goods and how exactly the smugglers get in touch with their customers.
We have received information from deep within the Brotherhood of Crahn which we don't want to withhold from you.
A reliable source told us that the Brotherhood of Crahn is seeking the grave of their leader, "Crahn".
"For years the Brotherhood has been looking for the grave of their Grandmaster, their Messiah. So far, we have been unsuccessful.
Last year, however, the Brotherhood found a lost parchment with instructions on how to make a glove – Crahn's Hand.
What was previously unknown is that the Brotherhood had found another parchment; one which might direct them to the grave of their Messiah. The Brotherhood has put all their resources into deciphering this parchment. Although they have made considerable progress, they have not completed their work.
Our source confirmed that Crahn's grave is thought to be in the Wastelands - accessible via an ancient hidden tunnel, which supposedly leads to a chapel."
Is it true? Did the Brotherhood find the grave? Not yet, according to our source:
"The Brotherhood has dug and dug, but not found the grave of their master. They have found something else ... something dangerous - something that should never have been discovered.
The higher orders know more. All I know is that, except one brother, no one has ever returned from there - he was so traumatized that he said only the following:
"Baneful... Spider... Evil... DOOM!"
We will continue investigating about this story and report to you, dear readers, as soon as we have new information.
Yesterday (20th May) a disk error issue occurred with our main Database Application server. This issue led to the unplanned downtime of the main Website, Forums, API and the Launcher.
At the time it was believed the issue was contained to the main DB Application server and would have no effect on the Titan Game Database which is on a separate server.
The NST uses virtualization technology for running its services and servers and after further checks it was discovered the Titan Game Database had suffered data corruption.
The Titan Game Database has been restored on 20th May at around 11:30UTC to the last good backup taken on 20th May at around 07:30UTC.
We apologise for the inconvenience caused by the rollback and we would like to thank players for their understanding and patience during the downtime.
All Neocron services are now fully restored and running.
